Acceldata Pricing and Acceldata Cost at $5,000 for Data Reliability and $100,000 for Spend Intelligence
Acceldata's pricing page lists PRO and ENTERPRISE tiers with no numbers. Its two AWS Marketplace listings do carry numbers: $5,000 a unit for Data Reliability, $100,000 per Snowflake account or Databricks workspace for Spend Intelligence, and $10,000 for a year of platform access. Here is what each one buys, the unit nobody defines, and what a warehouse team that needs lineage actually has to spend.
Read-only connection. DataTrail never moves or mutates your data.
Acceldata costs $5,000 per unit a year for Data Reliability and $100,000 per unit a year for Spend Intelligence, according to Acceldata's own AWS Marketplace listing. A Spend Intelligence unit is one Snowflake account or Databricks workspace; a Data Reliability unit is tied to average terabytes processed monthly, with no terabyte figure stated. A second listing sells a year of Acceldata platform access for $10,000. acceldata.io/pricing shows PRO and ENTERPRISE tiers and asks you to contact sales. Every Marketplace contract is 12 months.
Acceldata pricing on AWS Marketplace in two listings and four dimensions
Acceldata Inc sells both listings directly, and both are transactable: an AWS customer can accept the contract and pay on the AWS bill. That is why they carry dollar amounts when the vendor's website does not. Read on 27 September 2026:
| Listing | Dimension | What it meters | List price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Acceldata Data Observability Cloud | Data Reliability | Monitored data volume, "based on average TBs processed monthly" | $5,000.00 per unit, 12 months |
| Acceldata Data Observability Cloud | Spend Intelligence | Snowflake or Databricks, "priced per Account or Workspace" | $100,000.00 per unit, 12 months |
| Enterprise Data Observability Platform | Acceldata Platform Price | "Acceldata Platform access for 1 year" | $10,000.00, 12 months |
| Enterprise Data Observability Platform | Additional User (usage) | Overage for each additional user | $0.01 per user |
$100,000 against $5,000 means there is no single "Acceldata price". The module you buy decides whether this is a small line item or a six-figure commitment.
Data Reliability is "based on average TBs processed monthly", but the listing never says how many terabytes one $5,000 unit covers. That ratio is the number to get in writing.
Spend Intelligence is priced per Snowflake account or Databricks workspace. A company with separate dev, staging and prod accounts should ask whether that is three units.
Acceldata PRO vs ENTERPRISE lists features but withholds prices
The website splits Acceldata Data Observability Cloud (ADOC) into two products, Data Reliability and Cost Optimization, each with a PRO and an ENTERPRISE tier. None of the four shows a price. The Cost Optimization PRO tier is the only one with a self-serve trial button; the page also offers a 30-day free trial.
| Product | Tier | What the tier lists | How you buy it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Data Reliability | PRO | Anomaly detection, profiling, freshness, schema drift, automated classification, BI tool lineage and DQ, out-of-the-box rules, monitors and alerts, AI Copilot | Contact sales |
| Data Reliability | ENTERPRISE | Everything in PRO plus reconciliation, RBAC, pipeline monitoring, SDK, use-case and domain-specific rules, reporting, advanced classification, regional data centers, direct metadata API | Contact sales |
| Cost Optimization | PRO | Cost metrics and trends, Query Studio, dashboards, alerts and monitors | Free trial, then quoted |
| Cost Optimization | ENTERPRISE | Everything in PRO plus automated actions, chargeback, showback, training, advanced support, AI Copilot, regional data centers, direct metadata API | Contact sales |
Map the two sources together and the Marketplace names make sense: Data Reliability on AWS matches the ADOC Data Reliability product, and Spend Intelligence covers the same ground as Cost Optimization. What the website calls PRO versus ENTERPRISE is a feature boundary, and the AWS rate card does not say which tier a unit buys. If reconciliation, RBAC or pipeline monitoring matter to you, those are ENTERPRISE line items, so confirm the tier on the quote rather than assuming the Marketplace unit includes them.
Acceldata cost by what you are buying, next to a flat plan
These are list prices at the quantities the listings define, before any private offer. Because the terabytes in a Data Reliability unit are not published, the first row is a floor, not a quote. The right-hand column is DataTrail's annual price for the lineage and monitoring part of the job; it is a different product and does no cost management, so read it as the cost of that job alone.
| Scenario | Acceldata units | Acceldata, 12 months at list | DataTrail, 12 months |
|---|---|---|---|
| Data quality only, one warehouse | 1 Data Reliability unit | $5,000 at list, before sizing to your TB volume | $708 to $2,148 (Starter or Team) |
| Data quality plus Snowflake cost control, one account | 1 Data Reliability + 1 Spend Intelligence | $105,000 | $2,148 (Team), no cost-control module |
| Cost control on three Snowflake accounts or Databricks workspaces | 3 Spend Intelligence | $300,000 | Not offered, DataTrail does not do FinOps |
| Platform package from the second listing | 1 Acceldata Platform Price | $10,000, entitlement not described | $2,148 to $5,748 (Team or Scale) |
Data Reliability grows with the terabytes you process each month, not with how many tables you care about. A busy warehouse with a few critical tables pays for all of its volume.
Acceldata's data plane is deployed as pods on your own EKS, AKS or GKE cluster. The listing itself warns that additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply.
Both Acceldata listings offer 12 months only. Across the vendors we track, longer terms at list are exactly linear, so a multi-year discount is always a negotiated concession.
Where Acceldata earns its price
Acceldata is built for large, mixed estates, and at that scale the price is reasonable. It is the wrong purchase for a small warehouse team, which is most of the people searching for its price.
Pulse observes Hadoop, Spark, Kafka and Hive on-premises, down to YARN queue pressure and consumer lag. Warehouse-native tools cannot see that layer at all.
Spend Intelligence adds chargeback, showback and automated actions. If it trims a seven-figure Snowflake bill by ten percent, $100,000 is easy to justify.
The data plane runs in your cloud account, which regulated buyers often require. The price of that is a cluster your team provisions and maintains.
ENTERPRISE adds cross-system data reconciliation, which matters in migrations and in finance data that must tie out between systems.
Acceldata pricing vs Monte Carlo, Sifflet, Bigeye, Datafold and Anomalo
Every vendor here routes its pricing page to sales, and almost every one prints a price on AWS Marketplace anyway. These are 12-month list prices from each vendor's own listing.
| Product | List price | What it meters | Source, read |
|---|---|---|---|
| Acceldata | $5,000 / $100,000 | TB processed (quality); account or workspace (cost) | AWS Marketplace, 27 Sep 2026 |
| Monte Carlo | $50,000 | Credits | AWS Marketplace, 27 Sep 2026 |
| Sifflet | $48,000 | Platform credits | AWS Marketplace, 26 Aug 2026 |
| Bigeye | $45,000 / $75,000 | 100 or 300 monitored tables | AWS Marketplace, 26 Aug 2026 |
| Datafold | $15,000 / $30,000 | 5 or 10 developer seats | AWS Marketplace, 25 Sep 2026 |
| Anomalo | $1.00 placeholder | "units", not a real price | AWS Marketplace, 27 Sep 2026 |
| DataTrail | $708 to $5,748 | Flat plan, unlimited team members | datatrail.ai/pricing |
At $5,000, a single Data Reliability unit is the lowest real entry figure in the table (Anomalo's $1.00 is a placeholder). Add one Spend Intelligence account and it becomes the highest.
Monte Carlo's $50,000 buys credits that tables burn daily, so the useful comparison is per table. The working is on Monte Carlo pricing.
Anomalo lists a dimension called "units" at $1.00. It is transactable and meaningless. See Anomalo vs Monte Carlo.
When a warehouse-native tool is the better buy
A lot of teams request an Acceldata quote for one reason: dashboards keep breaking after upstream changes, and they want to catch schema drift before a stakeholder does. That is a real need, and it does not require a Kubernetes data plane, a terabyte meter or a FinOps module.
DataTrail connects to Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift or Postgres with a read-only role and parses query history and dbt artifacts into column-level lineage. Open a column and impact analysis lists every model, exposure and dashboard downstream, before the change ships. Schema change alerts and freshness monitoring run continuously on the same graph. Nothing is deployed in your account.
Pricing is flat: Starter is $59 a month for one warehouse, Team is $179 with impact analysis, anomaly detection and unlimited team members, and Scale is $479 for multiple warehouses and custom SLAs. See the pricing page. That is $2,148 a year on Team, below a single Data Reliability unit before any terabyte sizing.
What DataTrail does not do: it does not observe Hadoop, Spark or Kafka infrastructure, and it does not manage warehouse spend. If either is the requirement, Acceldata is the stronger tool. The honest side-by-side is on Acceldata alternatives, and the enterprise head-to-head is in Acceldata vs Monte Carlo.
Acceldata pricing questions buyers ask
How much does Acceldata cost?
Acceldata lists two modules on AWS Marketplace: Data Reliability at $5,000 per unit and Spend Intelligence at $100,000 per unit, both for 12 months. A second listing sells Acceldata Platform access for one year at $10,000. The Acceldata website shows no dollar figures, so the final number is quoted by sales and depends on data volume and how many accounts you track.
What does a Data Reliability unit cover?
The listing says Data Reliability is "for monitored Data Volumes, based on average TBs processed monthly" and prices it at $5,000 per unit. It does not say how many terabytes one unit covers. Ask Acceldata for the terabytes per unit in writing, because that ratio decides whether your quote is one unit or twenty.
Why is Spend Intelligence 20 times more expensive than Data Reliability?
They meter different things. Spend Intelligence is priced per Snowflake account or Databricks workspace at $100,000 each, and it is sold as a FinOps tool that pays for itself through lower warehouse bills. Data Reliability is metered on data volume. The two are independent dimensions on one contract, so you can buy either, or both.
Does Acceldata have a free trial?
Yes. Acceldata's pricing page offers a 30-day free trial, and the Cost Optimization PRO tier has a "Start Free Trial" button. Both Data Reliability tiers route to "Contact Sales". Neither AWS listing includes a free trial dimension, so a Marketplace purchase starts billing on acceptance.
Is Acceldata PRO or ENTERPRISE priced publicly?
No. The PRO and ENTERPRISE tiers on acceldata.io list features only. ENTERPRISE adds data reconciliation, RBAC, pipeline monitoring, an SDK, direct metadata API access and regional data centers. The only public dollar amounts are the AWS Marketplace rate cards, which are sold as modules and platform access rather than by tier name.
Can I cancel an Acceldata contract bought on AWS Marketplace?
The Enterprise Data Observability Platform listing states that all fees are non-cancellable and non-refundable except as required by law. The Data Observability Cloud listing links to Acceldata's own refund policy document instead. Both are 12-month contracts on your AWS bill, so finish your proof of concept before you accept the offer.
What else does Acceldata cost besides the license?
Acceldata runs a data plane inside your own cloud account, deployed as pods on Kubernetes (EKS, AKS or GKE), with the control plane hosted by Acceldata. That cluster, its compute and the engineering time to operate it are yours to pay for. The AWS listing itself notes that additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply.
Is Acceldata worth it?
It is for large hybrid estates. Acceldata observes Hadoop, Spark, Kafka and Hive down to YARN queues and consumer lag, and its Spend Intelligence module targets six-figure Snowflake and Databricks bills. If you are a warehouse-only team whose pain is broken dashboards after a schema change, you would be paying for infrastructure monitoring you do not need.
What is a cheaper alternative to Acceldata?
For column-level lineage, downstream impact analysis, freshness and schema change alerts on Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks or Postgres, DataTrail costs $59 to $479 a month on a flat plan, read-only, with nothing deployed in your account. It does not monitor Hadoop or manage warehouse spend, so keep Acceldata if those are the requirement.
Where these numbers came from
AWS Marketplace pages render in the browser, so a plain fetch returns nothing useful. We rendered both Acceldata listings with headless Chrome on 27 September 2026 and read every contract rate card from the page data:
MP=https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp google-chrome --headless=new --dump-dom \ --virtual-time-budget=30000 \ "$MP/prodview-p2wjjciztguf6" # Data Reliability P12M 5000.00 # Spend Intelligence P12M 100000.00 # prodview-subkmt3ipfzy6: # Platform Price P12M 10000.00
The tier and trial details come from acceldata.io/pricing, read the same day. Deployment architecture comes from Acceldata's documentation as summarized on our Acceldata alternatives page. Monte Carlo and Anomalo were re-read on AWS the same day; Bigeye and Sifflet are this site's readings of 26 August 2026, and Datafold of 25 September 2026.
What we did not do: we did not repeat price ranges from directory sites, several of which describe a different Acceldata product. We did not guess the terabytes in a unit. And every figure is list, before any private offer.
