Anomalo Pricing and Cost for Data Quality Monitoring in 2026
Anomalo has no pricing page. Its AWS listing sells a "unit" for $1.00 and never says what a unit is. Buyers who have signed report contracts from $58,000 to $164,688 a year. Here is how to read your quote, and what the same monitoring costs elsewhere.
Read-only connection. DataTrail never moves or mutates your data.
Anomalo is sold only by custom quote. Buyer-reported contracts run from $58,000 to $164,688 a year, with a median of $115,000 (Vendr). Anomalo publishes no tiers or rates; its one public figure, $1.00 per "unit" on AWS Marketplace, is a placeholder whose unit is undefined. Expect the quote to scale with monitored tables, deployment type (SaaS or your VPC) and the agents you license.

Anomalo cost per year next to published data quality list prices
At $58,000 the cheapest reported Anomalo contract sits just above Monte Carlo's $50,000 starter credit package. Small, single-warehouse deployments are where the two compete on price.
$115,000 is what a typical signed buyer pays, roughly 2.5 times Bigeye's 100-table list price. That is the number to keep in mind when a first quote arrives.
Vendr's figures come from purchases it has seen, not from Anomalo. Treat them as a negotiating reference, and ask for your own quote at your table count.
Anomalo AWS Marketplace price, decoded
The Anomalo Data Quality listing on AWS Marketplace is transactable, so it has to carry a dollar amount. It carries one, and it tells you almost nothing. We read the rate card out of the page data on 1 October 2026.
| Contract term | Price per "unit" | What that means |
|---|---|---|
| 12 months | $1.00 | Per unit, quantity set by the vendor |
| 24 months | $2.00 | Exactly 2x, no multi-year discount |
| 36 months | $3.00 | Exactly 3x, no multi-year discount |
The dimension key, display name and description are all the same word. AWS's own buyer summary on the listing admits it "does not define what a single unit maps to in concrete terms".
$1, $2, $3 for one, two and three years is exactly linear. Collibra and Informatica list the same way. A multi-year discount exists only if you negotiate it.
A $1 unit lets sales send a private offer for any quantity, so the purchase can draw down an existing AWS commitment. Useful for procurement, useless as a price signal.
What drives an Anomalo quote
Anomalo now sells itself as nine agents rather than one monitoring product, and it deploys either as SaaS or entirely inside your own VPC. Those two choices, plus how many tables you point it at, are what the sales conversation sizes.
Third-party buyer guides consistently report table count as the main lever. Deep monitoring runs inside each table, so coverage and cost grow together.
"Works fully in your VPC or as SaaS. Bring your own model or use ours." In-VPC suits regulated teams and adds your own cloud spend to the bill.
Table observability and data quality are the core. First responder, insights, KPI monitoring, experiment evaluation and analytics agents extend the scope.
Anomalo pushes its checks down into Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery or Redshift. Those credits are on your warehouse bill, not in the quote.
Ask which of these your quote includes by name. A bundle priced for nine agents is a very different purchase from table monitoring alone, and the website does not say how they are packaged.
Anomalo pricing vs Monte Carlo, Sifflet, Bigeye and Soda
Each row shows the source and the date we read it. Scope differs: a Bigeye package is 100 tables, a Monte Carlo package is credits, and Anomalo's range covers whatever each buyer negotiated.

Where DataTrail fits for teams pricing Anomalo
Anomalo is very good at one thing: learning what the values in a table normally look like and flagging the day they drift, without anyone writing a rule. If unknown anomalies in large, business-critical tables are what keep you up at night, that capability is worth real money, and a six-figure contract can be the right call.
Many teams book the Anomalo demo for a different reason. A dashboard broke because someone renamed a column, a table stopped loading and nobody noticed for two days, or a dbt change took out a finance report. Those are lineage and freshness problems. DataTrail connects to Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift or Postgres with a read-only role, builds column-level lineage from query history and your dbt project, and runs freshness monitoring and schema change alerts on every table without a single rule written. Impact analysis lists each downstream model and dashboard before a change ships.
The price is on the page. Starter is $59 a month billed yearly for one warehouse, Team is $179 billed yearly with impact analysis, anomaly detection and unlimited team members, and Scale is $479 for multiple warehouses. Scale for a full year, $5,748, is about one twentieth of the median Anomalo contract. See the pricing page.
What DataTrail does not do: it does not run deep unsupervised models over every value in your tables, and it does not deploy inside your VPC. If those are hard requirements, compare Anomalo with Monte Carlo, and use our Anomalo alternatives page and the data observability tools roundup to build the shortlist.
Anomalo pricing questions buyers ask
How much does Anomalo cost?
Anomalo does not publish a price. Buyer-reported contracts on Vendr range from $58,000 to $164,688 a year, with a median of $115,000. The only figure Anomalo itself prints is a $1.00 per unit placeholder on AWS Marketplace, where the unit is never defined, so the real number is whatever quantity sales quotes you.
Does Anomalo publish pricing?
No. As of 1 October 2026, anomalo.com/pricing returns a 404 page and the site routes every visitor to a demo request. There are no tiers, no meter and no rate on Anomalo's own site, so any per-table figure you see on a third-party site is an estimate, not a list price.
What is the Anomalo AWS Marketplace price?
The Anomalo Data Quality listing sells one dimension named "units", described only as "units", at $1.00 for 12 months, $2.00 for 24 and $3.00 for 36. AWS's own summary on the listing says it does not define what a unit maps to. It is a transactable placeholder for a private offer, not a cost.
Does Anomalo have a free trial?
There is no self-serve free plan or signup on Anomalo's site. Every call to action leads to a demo request, and evaluations are arranged with sales, including in-VPC deployments. If you need to see your own lineage and alerts the same day without a sales cycle, DataTrail has a one-time demo and published plans.
What drives an Anomalo quote?
Anomalo does not state its meter, but buyers and third-party guides consistently report the same drivers: how many tables you monitor, SaaS versus deployment in your own VPC, which of its nine agents you license, and contract length. Its AWS listing confirms that a longer term costs exactly 2x or 3x, so multi-year discounts are negotiated, not listed.
Is Anomalo cheaper than Monte Carlo?
Usually not at list. Monte Carlo publishes a $50,000 annual credit package on AWS Marketplace, while the median Anomalo contract reported on Vendr is $115,000. The ranges overlap at the low end, around $50,000 to $60,000, so a small Anomalo deployment can land near a Monte Carlo starter package.
Does Anomalo do column-level lineage?
Not natively. Anomalo's documentation describes its lineage as table-level, for Snowflake, Databricks and BigQuery, refreshed about once a day. That is context around a monitor. If the question you pay to answer is which downstream columns and dashboards a change will break, you need a column-level lineage tool.
What is a cheaper alternative to Anomalo?
For freshness, schema change alerts and column-level impact analysis on Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift or Postgres, DataTrail costs $708 to $5,748 a year with unlimited team members. Soda Team is $750 a month. For deep unsupervised anomaly detection on values at enterprise scale, Anomalo and Monte Carlo remain the specialists.
Where these numbers came from
The AWS Marketplace page draws its price table with JavaScript, so plain requests return nothing. We rendered it in a headless browser and read the rate card out of the page data, which holds every contract term at once. Everything below was checked on 1 October 2026:
L=aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp chrome --headless --dump-dom \ https://$L/prodview-sodj3n3wjs67s # "units": P12M 1.00, P24M 2.00, P36M 3.00 curl -sI https://www.anomalo.com/pricing # HTTP 404
The contract range and median come from Vendr's Anomalo page, which aggregates purchases it has seen. They are third-party figures, and we label them that way everywhere on this site. The agent list and deployment wording are quoted from anomalo.com. The competitor list prices were read from their own AWS Marketplace listings in August 2026 and are kept current on their pricing pages here.
