AWS RATE CARD AND SIFFLET'S PLAN PAGE, READ 15 OCTOBER 2026

Sifflet Pricing and Sifflet Cost at $48,000 a Year in Platform Credits

Sifflet's pricing page names three tiers and no prices. Its AWS listing names one price and no quantity. Put them side by side and you can see what a Sifflet quote is likely to look like, where the gaps are, and when a flat-priced lineage tool covers the actual need.

Sifflet costs $48,000 for 12 months of Data Observability Platform Credits on AWS Marketplace, read on 15 October 2026. That is the only dollar figure Sifflet publishes anywhere. Its own pricing page sells three tiers by assets monitored, Entry up to 500, Growth up to 1,000 and Enterprise above 1,000, with no prices on any of them. The listing does not say how many assets the credit pack covers, and the contract is non-refundable.

// SIFFLET'S OWN PLAN PAGE

Sifflet plans by assets monitored

Sifflet sizes every tier in monitored assets, which covers tables but also other objects in the catalog. Every tier includes the core observability and catalog, lineage and impact analysis, automated root cause analysis, AI incident management, role-based access with audit logs, and the Sentinel agent that suggests monitors.

TierAssets monitoredHow you buy itDeploymentWhat it adds
EntryUp to 500Self-serve or marketplacesSaaSStandard support, guided onboarding
GrowthUp to 1,000Sales-assisted or marketplacesSaaSAdds SSO and Snowflake, BigQuery and S3 data sharing; priority support
Enterprise1,000 and upDirect enterprise sales or a channel partnerSaaS, hybrid or self-hostedAdds pipeline monitoring and early access to the Sage and Forge agents; 24/7 support
SSO is a Growth feature
Security review decides the tier

If your company requires single sign-on for every SaaS tool, Entry is off the table regardless of asset count. Budget for Growth from the start.

Pipeline monitoring is Enterprise only
Airflow and job health cost extra

Watching the jobs, not just the tables they write, is gated to the top tier. A team that wants both is buying Enterprise.

Self-hosted is Enterprise only
Residency has a price tier

Hybrid and self-hosted deployment, including an option with no internet access, exist but only at Enterprise. Entry and Growth are single-tenant SaaS.

// THE ONE PUBLIC PRICE

Sifflet cost on AWS Marketplace is $48,000 for a credit pack

prodview-lz6cw37v4bkna
$48,000.00

Data Observability Platform Credits, quantity 1, 12 months. One rate card, one dimension, no 24 or 36 month term.

Because the listing is transactable, it has to carry a real amount, which is why this is the only Sifflet price in public. What it does not carry is a definition. The dimension is named "Data Observability Platform Credits" and described as exactly that, and the listing tells buyers to contact Sifflet for pricing questions and custom contract options.

So you can see what the pack costs but not what it buys. That puts Sifflet with Alation, whose listing sells undefined units, rather than with Bigeye, which names a table count you can divide by.

// WHAT $48,000 COULD MEAN

Sifflet price per asset, worked both ways

Sifflet's plan page says Entry and Growth can both be bought through marketplaces, so the $48,000 pack plausibly maps to one of them. The page does not say which. Here is what each reading implies, so you know which question to ask.

$96

Per asset per year if the pack covers Entry's full 500 assets

$48

Per asset per year if it covers Growth's full 1,000 assets

$192

Datadog's published annual rate per monitored table, for scale

Neither of the first two numbers is a Sifflet price. They are the ceiling arithmetic you should bring to the call. If Sifflet confirms the pack covers 500 monitored assets for a year, you are paying half of Datadog's list per table. If it covers fewer, or if some monitors draw extra credits, the rate climbs fast. The useful question is not "what is the price" but "how many of our assets does one $48,000 pack keep monitored for twelve months, and what happens on day one of the overage."

// AGAINST THE FIELD AT 500 TABLES

Sifflet pricing vs Monte Carlo, Datadog and Bigeye

Every figure is a list price this site read from the vendor's own rate card or listing on the date shown. Monte Carlo's figures cover table monitors only; every metric monitor or custom SQL rule draws credits on top.

Sifflet looks cheapest at list

Only if the pack covers 500 assets. Monte Carlo's brackets are on Monte Carlo pricing, and the head-to-head is in Sifflet vs Monte Carlo.

Datadog is the transparent one

Metaplane now bills on Datadog's $16 per table per month. Dearer at list, but you can compute it to the dollar. See Metaplane vs Sifflet.

Bigeye stops at 300

Bigeye publishes $45,000 for 100 tables and $75,000 for 300, and nothing above. Details on Bigeye pricing.

// WHAT YOU SIGN

What a Sifflet marketplace contract commits you to

The AWS listing is blunt: "All fees are non-cancellable and non-refundable except as required by law." The only term is 12 months, and if you do not renew, access to the entitlements expires. There is no trial dimension on the listing, so the proof of concept happens before the purchase, not inside it.

There is no multi-year price to compare. Across the vendors we track, published 24 and 36 month prices are exactly linear (Collibra, Informatica and Anomalo all list 2x and 3x), so expect any multi-year discount from Sifflet to come from negotiation rather than a rate card.

Support on the listing is a dedicated account manager and customer success engineer over email, Slack or Teams. Sifflet is a Paris-based company that states ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance on its security page, and it offers US, EU and Asia hosting regions, which matters for a US security review.

// WHO THE PRICE FITS

When Sifflet is worth $48,000 and when it is not

BUY SIFFLET

You want catalog, observability and lineage in one tool for a few hundred assets, business users will read the catalog, and you have Snowflake committed spend you would rather draw down. Its field-level lineage covers Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift and Databricks from query logs.

LOOK AT MONTE CARLO

You need a published meter you can model to the dollar, or your estate runs into the thousands of tables where Monte Carlo's brackets fall sharply. See Sifflet alternatives for the wider list.

LOOK AT DATATRAIL

What you actually need is column-level lineage and change impact on Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift or Postgres, not a catalog program. That is a flat $59 to $479 a month.

// IF LINEAGE IS WHY YOU ASKED FOR A QUOTE

The lineage without the credit pack

Sifflet bundles lineage and impact analysis into every tier, inside a $48,000 credit pack. DataTrail is the lineage. It connects with a read-only role, parses query history and dbt artifacts into column-level lineage, and shows downstream impact analysis on a column before a change ships, with freshness monitoring and schema change alerts on the same graph.

Plans are flat: Starter $59 a month, Team $179 with impact analysis and anomaly detection, Scale $479 for multiple warehouses. No asset count, no credits, unlimited team members. Team is $2,148 a year, under 5% of the Sifflet pack. Details on the pricing page.

What DataTrail does not do: it is not a business-facing data catalog, it has no AI agents that propose fixes, and it does not run self-hosted without internet access. If those are the requirement, Sifflet is the better fit.

// FREQUENTLY ASKED

Sifflet pricing questions buyers ask

How much does Sifflet cost?

The only published Sifflet price is $48,000 for 12 months of Data Observability Platform Credits on AWS Marketplace, read 15 October 2026. Sifflet's own pricing page lists Entry, Growth and Enterprise tiers by number of assets monitored (up to 500, up to 1,000, and 1,000 plus) but shows no dollar amounts, so anything other than the marketplace pack is a quote.

Does Sifflet publish its pricing?

Partly. siffletdata.com/pricing publishes the tier structure, asset limits and which features each tier unlocks, but no prices. The AWS Marketplace listing publishes one dollar figure, $48,000 for a 12-month credit pack, without saying how many assets or monitors those credits cover. Vendr had no Sifflet price data when we checked on 15 October 2026.

What do Sifflet platform credits buy?

Sifflet does not say on the listing. The AWS rate card sells one dimension, Data Observability Platform Credits, at quantity 1 for $48,000, and the description points buyers to Sifflet for pricing questions. Ask Sifflet in writing which assets and monitors draw credits, what happens when the pack runs out, and whether unused credits roll over.

What is the difference between Sifflet Entry, Growth and Enterprise?

Asset count, procurement route and a few gated features. Entry covers up to 500 monitored assets and is self-serve or bought through a marketplace. Growth covers up to 1,000 and adds SSO plus Snowflake, BigQuery and S3 data sharing. Enterprise covers 1,000 and up and is the only tier with pipeline monitoring and hybrid or self-hosted deployment.

Is Sifflet cheaper than Monte Carlo?

At list, possibly, for a mid-size estate. Monte Carlo's published credit rates put 500 table monitors at $57,488 a year on Start and $89,425 on Scale, while Sifflet's marketplace pack is $48,000. That comparison only holds if Sifflet's pack covers your 500 assets, which the listing does not state. The full breakdown is in our Sifflet vs Monte Carlo comparison.

Can I get a refund on a Sifflet marketplace contract?

No. The AWS listing states that all fees are non-cancellable and non-refundable except as required by law, and the only term offered is 12 months. Run your proof of concept before accepting the offer, and diarize the renewal so entitlements do not lapse or renew unexamined.

Can I pay for Sifflet with Snowflake credits?

Sifflet says so on its pricing page: "Got Snowflake credits sitting around? You can use them here," with a link to talk to sales. That usually means buying through Snowflake's marketplace so the spend draws down an existing Snowflake commitment. Confirm with both Sifflet and your Snowflake account team before you count on it.

What is a cheaper alternative to Sifflet for data lineage?

If the reason you are pricing Sifflet is column-level lineage and catching breaking changes before they reach dashboards, DataTrail does that on a flat $59 to $479 a month plan with a read-only connection and no asset meter. It does not replicate Sifflet's catalog, its AI agents or its self-hosted option for enterprises without internet access.

// HOW WE VERIFIED THIS

Where these numbers came from

AWS Marketplace pages render in the browser, so a plain fetch returns nothing. We rendered Sifflet's listing with headless Chrome on 15 October 2026 and read the contract rate card from the page data:

MP=https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp
google-chrome --headless=new --dump-dom \
  --virtual-time-budget=30000 \
  "$MP/prodview-lz6cw37v4bkna"
# credits  Data Observability
#          Platform Credits  P12M 48000.00

The tier table is from siffletdata.com/pricing, read the same day. Note that Sifflet's domain is siffletdata.com; sifflet.ai is an unrelated parked domain. Vendr had no Sifflet price data. Lineage coverage is from Sifflet's field-level lineage documentation, updated 1 October 2026. Competitor figures are this site's own readings on the dates in the table.

What we did not do: treat the per-asset arithmetic as a price, or repeat the "usage-based, contact sales" summaries that aggregators print without a figure. Every dollar amount on this page is list, before any private offer.
